The Review Says it All

Small businesses color our communities, so it only makes sense that you'll find a treasure trove of colorful reviews for them on Google. To show love for small businesses in America's heartland, we decided to let the reviews speak for themselves. Tapping some of Google's smartest data scientists, we found the "most loved" businesses based on ratings and reviews and put their most memorable reviews on a pedestal across 10 U.S. cities.

Google x Conan

We even got Conan O’Brien excited to share the #SmallThanks love on his show, where a local small business, The Christmas Brothers, decorated Conan’s desk for the holidays in record time.

Influencer Campaign

To celebrate the 28 million small businesses across America, we asked 28 social influencers to thank the ones that have impacted their lives in a personal way. We engaged artists, photographers, olympians, famous animals, food bloggers and athletes to thank small businesses for keeping their community vibrant and colorful. From pro-skater Tony Hawk, to NatGeo photographer Pete McBride, everyone has a story to share about a local business they’re thankful for.

The numbers: 52.6MM reach, 6.73MM impressions, and 1.44MM user engagements.
